Notice Bored

its been a long time since i wrote this...but then everytime i would write something, i was never able to complete it or... yea complete it... but now, now i write.. so here goes-

i was just thinking and i noticed a few things

• every time you buy a gadget, the very next day there would be something better or cheaper.
• u fall in love with the last gadget you buy and the world seems to be a better place with it.
• social networking site are less of networking and more of stalking.
• if you are in a situation, everything around you will remind you of it. its as if there are signs to remind you that there's an issue.
• in case u are a designer, the client is always right. he also does not know anything about design, and refuses to accept it.
• you all ways have too many people around in your life to mess up something.
• at last, the day u miss out in college or work, is the day which was very important.

We-men

Well, once again i find myself asking a cliched question... why is it that people say women talk more than men?
Some smart female writers and readers did and would say, because men do not listen and hence women have to repeat everything. --- Ya... that may be true... But then what about phone calls? A personal experience- the men, i know, talk on the phone more than women. Clearly the first thing that pops in my mind is what do they talk about? We all know men talk about booze, sex and sports and probably occasionally money. So can the any of the topics above last more than 3-4 hours?!!!

At this point someone may ask me- don't you talk that much?--- Maybe i do... but not 3 times a day!!!!
Why have the men started talking so much? Do they believe in gender equality? or is it just a simple fact that they too enjoy their bit of gossip?

Well nobody would admit they enjoy their share or gossip and bitching but... why? we all do it? and men do it too. Though they would not admit it.... and we women would never know :)

pick up line

There are times when one has to make excuses, and then there are times when excuses are genuine. We all at some point of time have made some excuse or the other. Well its because of us that that the "genuine" excuses are hardly ever believed.
Anyhow the other day, i was in this lounge with a friend and this absolutely drop dead gorgeous guy enters and sits down a few tables away.
We look at each other simultaneously and turn away. Not being a mind reader, i didn't know what he was thinking. But i knew definitely knew that i had seen him somewhere... i tell this to my friend he falls of his chair laughing, announcing that, that was the longest time someone had taken to come up with a cliched line. I convince him that i have actually met the stranger before and he tries convincing me to go up to the guy. I obviously refuse -if my friend thought it was pick up line, then the hot stranger would definitely think so.
Anyway i get convinced and get ready to go upto him when i see this guy already standing next to me!
He asks me, "hey, but dont i know u?"
I turn around, smile at my friend and look back at the guy.
yes, even i thought so. but somehow i dont remember where - i casually reply :)
he replies, "well, i think we went for the same tuitions"

PS- my friends idea of pick up lines has changed since then :P

reasons

I was just going through this link... about Murphy's Law.... when the thought occurred to me... why does murphys law exist? no body knows the answer... yet all are fans... why??? only because its true....

Anyhow i did find myself asking these questions...

1. why do we always get stuck in a traffic jam/ long red lights/ car or auto break downs... only when are getting late???

2. why is it that people say love is blind?- and yet look for a decent LOOKING guy/ girl??

3. why do we say opposites attract for people?- do they also have some magnetic energy which repels similarities?

4. then why do we also say... " awe, they make such a cute couple. they have so many things in common.. " knowing fully well that we look for common thoughts and ideas?

5. if any form of art and designs are subjective, why do people criticize them?

6. why does the phone ring the most when its on silent or we are busy or when our hands are full or when we are away? - do the callers get some notifications???

7. why do u receive the maximum calls when ur being charged roaming?!!!

8. they say, you should always be with the one who loves you. So if A loved B and B loved C, so B should be with A and C should be with B? isnt that two timing???? - who came up with this???

9. how does murphys law come true?

10. why am i writing suc stuff even though i though ill start writing philospphical things in the blog???


well... thats all folks... will write my next blog soon :) tilll then keep thinking... it keeps alot of things in shape... :P
